Why play Baseball at Flinders ?

Currently we have multiple teams entered in the SA Winter Baseball Association season where we have won many championships in our 50 year history. The season begins each April or May and concludes in August.

Flinders is also invloved in the SABL, the Summer Baseball League, in division 7. The season goes from October to March with a break over Christmas and New Year.

Women’s Baseball

Supported by Flinders who field many players in the new Women’s Baseball League. Experienced and new players are all welcome. A full Flinders team was entered in the 2017/2018 season.

We also send teams to the University games each year with a number of medals being won by the Club in the past (Gold in Baseball in 1999, 1995 and 1969). We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for people to play Baseball and Softball in a friendly setting.

Flinders ballpark

Our home ground is located on the Sturt Oval at Flinders University campus. The diamond is located adjacent to the Sturt Gymnasium on Flinders Drive. Games are played on Saturday afternoons. The winter season is fairly casual, but competitive. A great way to keep the arm and eye in shape for the summer season.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Both students and non-students are eligible to play. Discount fees available for students.
